The made in Taiwan documentary is about Oscar and Nathans journey to find where their people came from. First, they go to Mahia to open Nathans DNA lab results, with his mum and dad. After reading his results they make their way to Rarotonga to learn more about the culture and locals. They then travel to Samoa to open Oscars DNA results with his family. Before ending their journey in Taiwan they stop off in Vanuatu to learn more about where the Polynesians came from. Lastly, they make their way to Taiwan where they Meet Niwa. they are surprised to see such a big resemblance between the Polynesians and the Taiwanese.
I think this would be a great short film for other students in New Zealand to watch so they can learn more about one of many cultures in New Zealand.
